CLASS STRUCTURE & EXPECTATIONS
Team Selections
Our experienced coaches carefully select participants for various teams based on their professional expertise. Team placements and individual positions within the teams are determined by the coaches and may be adjusted throughout the season according to participants' abilities and skill levels. To maintain a positive and respectful learning environment, participants are expected to follow the coaches' instructions and show respect to their teammates. Parents are encouraged to reinforce these values at home.
Attendance
Consistent attendance is crucial for team development and progression. If your child cannot attend a class, please inform the team coordinator in advance.
Uniform and Equipment
Participants should arrive at class with the required uniform and equipment, as instructed by your coach.
Parent Watching
At the start of the year, parents are welcome to watch classes. However, after Term 1, classes may transition to closed sessions due to limited hall space, to help participants focus and ensure their privacy. Later in the year, coaches typically arrange a class concert for parents to observe their child’s progress.
Parent Communication & Support
During the first term, coaches or team coordinators will organise a meeting with parents to provide essential information and address any questions. For incidental queries throughout the year, please direct them to your team coordinator, as coaches will be focused on conducting classes. Any unresolved matters will be referred to the coach if necessary.
Regular updates about class schedules, competitions, and events will be shared via email or designated communication platforms (e.g., WhatsApp, Team App, Facebook Group). Please ensure your contact details are up-to-date to stay informed.
Health and Safety
Please notify the team coordinator of any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries your child may have so that appropriate precautions can be taken during class.
Drop off & Pickup from class
For safety reasons, ensure your child is not left alone before coaches or personnel arrive and that they are promptly collected after training. Your cooperation is essential in creating a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
