We’re excited to share details about the upcoming competitions and concerts for 2025. Your team coordinator will provide additional information closer to each event to ensure you are fully prepared.
STAGE PRACTICE
All West Coast team members, except Tinies and Sub Junior 3, are required to participate in stage practice sessions at Swan Park Theatre, Midvale, as part of their training. These sessions are scheduled prior to each competition, and carpooling can be arranged to assist with transportation.
Once your team’s stage practice dates are announced, please mark them in your diary to ensure you are well-prepared. Stage practice is essential as it allows members to become familiar with the stage, polish routines, and build team confidence.
TEAM COMPETITIONS
As part of their team commitment, all West Coast members (except Tinies and Sub Junior 3) are expected to participate in the following two CAWA-run competitions held at Swan Park Theatre, Midvale.

Competition dates for 2025 are as follows:
- Sub-Junior All Grades 5, 6, 7: Saturday, 19th July 2025
- Sub-Junior All Grades 3, 4: Sunday, 20th July 2025
- Intermediate A & B Grade: Saturday, 2nd August 2025
- Senior A Grade: Sunday, 3rd August 2025
- Sub-Junior A Grade: Saturday, 9th August 2025
- Junior A Grade: Sunday, 10th August 2025
** CAWA State Championships **
Competition dates for 2025 are as follows:
- Sub-Junior All Grades 5, 6, 7: TBA
- Sub-Junior All Grades 3, 4: TBA
- Sub-Junior A Grade: TBA
- Junior A Grade: TBA
- Intermediate A & B Grade: TBA
- Senior A Grade: TBA
These competitions are a fantastic opportunity for members to showcase their hard work, skills, and teamwork. Please ensure these dates are marked in your diary. Additional details will be provided closer to the events.
Please note that CAWA charge an entry fee of up to $25 per adult for competition attendance. Children under 16 can attend free of charge. Tickets and more information are available online at CAWA.
UNIFORM FOR COMPETITIONS
To ensure consistency and professionalism, the following uniforms are required for to be worn to competitions and onstage during presentations:
- Sub Junior 1 & 2: Club hoodie and navy track pants. Sneakers are required (no slippers or ugg boots).
- Juniors, Intermediates, and Seniors: Club jacket and navy track pants. Sneakers are required (no slippers or ugg boots).

These concerts provide a wonderful opportunity for performers to demonstrate their progress and enjoy the experience of performing on stage in a fun and supportive environment. Make sure to invite all your family and friends to come along and support!
