Calisthenics is an artistic sport unique to Australia. Participants aged from 4 to adult have fun and keep fit while learning:
- Aspects of gymnastics
- Simplified ballet
- Dance
- Singing and acting
- Marching
- Club swinging
- Rod twisting
Teams learn 5-6 items each year which are performed on stage in several competitions and at an Annual Family concert. All involve detailed choreography and teamwork. There are also solo and duo activities throughout the year.
West Coast Calisthenics Club has been established in Perth since 1975.
We have a dedicated team of coaches and assistants, a fantastic selection of costumes and over 140 members.
We welcome all new or experienced members to the club.
